License Activation
Getting a License
- Visit the Bloqd website
- Choose your tier
- Complete payment
- Receive license key via email
Activating in Bloqd
- Go to Settings → License
- Enter your license key
- Click Activate

License Validation
Your license is validated:
- On activation
- Every 24 hours automatically
- When accessing gated features
Grace Period
If your license expires:
- 7-day grace period - Full functionality continues
- After grace period - Features revert to Free tier
- Data preserved - Nothing is deleted
To restore access, simply renew your license.
Server Limits
How Counting Works
- Each unique server with an active agent counts as one server
- Deleted servers free up slots immediately
- Offline servers still count until removed
Exceeding Limits
If you exceed your server limit:
- Existing servers continue working
- You cannot add new servers
- Dashboard shows warning
To resolve:
- Remove unused servers
- Upgrade your license tier
Self-Hosted vs Cloud
Bloqd is self-hosted software. The license system:
- Validates against a license server periodically
- Caches validation for offline operation
- Does not send your data to external servers

Can I try before buying?
Yes! The Free tier is fully functional for single-server deployments. Test all basic features before upgrading.
What happens if I downgrade?
- Server limit enforced (oldest servers kept)
- Custom templates remain but can't be edited
- Gated features become unavailable
- All data is preserved
Is there an annual discount?

Can I transfer my license?
Licenses are tied to your Bloqd instance. Contact support for migration assistance.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied.
